Lacing project management & interior design together to create gorgeous spaces for our clients.

Liesl is a creative genius. She understands your unique vision and together with her highly effective team, quickly and effectively builds this into reality - one that exceeds expectations.
Marli Beukes
From a picture in my head that I thought no one will ever “get”, to the reality of my dream kitchen in all its glory.
A year ago I contacted Liesl and we started planning every nook and cranny of my new kitchen to be functional, practical and absolutely gorgeous. Liesl has fresh new funky ideas and knew which ones she could pitch to me as it didn’t take her long to “read my mind”. She never settled for “ok” - it had to be perfect, and she would always find a better (and cheaper) alternative to stay within the budget.
Liesl took control of our house for 5 weeks and she made the whole process as painless as possible. The team she has behind her, did an excellent job.
Liesl, this is only the first project of a few more I have in mind!

Liesl at Lace Interiors has run with the renovation of Jasmine House for a second time as we changed to a retail space to match Babettes Bakery and she has done a fantastic job again!
From planning & design/colour ideas right through to project management of builders, painters, sub-contractors - we didn’t have to worry as the process was smooth and handled for us!
We were thrilled with the results, as were our new tenants.
A totally new beautiful space in less than a month, brilliant!

What our clients can expect

Our industry is quite dynamic, and many times things happen on the fly. That being said, it's good to know what to expect, and here is a good outline of the process when you engage with us:

Giant number 1

Discovery meeting

Typically 1 hour

Applies to all our services

Fee chargeable based on time spent

Goal: To get a firm grasp of your vision and needs, and/or to advise you on the best way forward with or without the need to engage our services further.

This is where we get to know you, get a feel for what you like and discuss your vision (or help you find it if you're not sure what it is yet!).

This meeting is chargeable as an advisory session. Many clients needn't proceed further if all that's needed is solid advice from someone in the industry, however many times this crucial step is the first towards helping our clients work towards a bigger goal.

Giant number 2

Project bidding

Applies to all our services

Goal: To align on pricing in preparation for the exciting work to be started!

If after Step 1 we've agreed that our services may be required going forward, we will then draft a quotation based on the needs you've detailed to us. Once accepted, it's on to Step 3!

Giant number 3

Project initialization

Timelines & fees vary by project and client needs

Applies to all our services

Goal: To begin the process of bringing your dream to reality.

For smaller projects, this step might mean simply sourcing and purchasing a few goodies for your home or business space, or it could mean arranging a meeting with an architect or builder - of your choosing or within our trusted network - to discuss the best way forward in a major renovation project.

Giant number 4

Snag resolution

Timelines vary by project

Applies to Project Management service only

Goal: To ensure all trades involved finish on site with a clean slate and that the client is not left with unfinished or unsatisfactory building work.

Where a lot of building work has been done and inspections are needed to confirm all is in order, this step comes into play.

During this phase, we liaise with the contractors responsible for the work as well as the client to ensure a seamless finish and a properly finished project that the client can be proud of.

Giant number 5

Project closure

Timelines & fees vary by project

Applies to all our services

Goal: Closing this chapter of our work with a happy client and strong relationships going forward.

The grand finale, where it all comes together! Whether it's a single room that needs a fresh lick of paint or an entire building that must be gutted and renewed, this is where we greet the client, step back and admire the finished product.
